Children’s Ministry exists to assist parents in fulfilling the scriptural admonition to train up children in a way that honors the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:6-9, Ephesians 6:4).

Sunday Mornings at 10:30 a.m.

Nursery and Childcare
For infants-kindergarten, we provide loving care, simple Bible stories, and supervised play.

Grades 1–6
Children begin the worship hour with their parents, joining in the fellowship of prayer and praise. Before the offertory, children are dismissed to their class downstairs in the Fellowship Room downstairs. Click here for information about our summer program, "Happy Campers."

Through Teaching

By God’s grace and for His glory, we labor with love and gentleness to guide children to an understanding of truth through careful Bible teaching. Through age-appropriate Bible lessons and learning activities, we seek to instill the glorious truths of God in their minds so that their hearts might be filled with appropriate awe, love, fear, and gratitude.

Through Partnering

Though the responsibility of nurturing a child’s faith falls primarily on the parents, we believe it is the church’s role and privilege to come alongside the parents as they endeavor to faithfully fulfill this command. Our desire at East Parkway Bible Church is to assist, support, and supplement parents’ teaching and shepherding of their child’s heart.

Convinced that both children and adults come to faith by the hearing of the Word, we encourage parents to have their children worship with them during the morning service so that our families may rejoice in God together and so that our children may learn to profit from the Word preached.
